- Nearly all NVIDIA networking features, from adapters to switches to data processing units (DPU’s), can be accessed and managed with open interfaces. In fact, NVIDIA is a top contributor to projects such as SONiC, the Data Plane Developers Kit (DPDK), and Free Range Routing (FRR).
- The Spectrum programmable ASIC enables flexibility to handle evolving networking technologies, including new protocols that may be developed in the future.
- Spectrum’s Open SDK API enables the Ethernet community to build open-source networking applications and protocols faster and can be a base for a standard Ethernet switch interface, since NVIDIA doesn’t restrict usage or programming of the ASIC.
Mellanox Spectrum® SN4000
The SN4000 Ethernet switches combine industry-leading 400GbE density with rich features for the modern data center. Powered by Spectrum®-3 ASIC, the SN4000 series carries a whopping bidirectional switching capacity of up to 25.6Tb/s. The SN4000 platform complements the SN3000 platforms as high-density 400/100GbE spine switches. Alternatively, the SN4000 can also function as a high-density leaf switch for dense interconnected high performance clusters or classic end of the row data center designs.
Mellanox Spectrum® SN3000
The SN3000 Ethernet switches are ideal for leaf and spine data center network solutions, allowing maximum flexibility, with port speeds spanning from 1GbE to 400GbE per port and port density that enables full rack connectivity to any server at any speed. Powered by the 50G PAM-4 based Spectrum®-2 ASIC, the SN3000 series carries a whopping bidirectional switching capacity of up to 12.8Tb/s with a landmark 8.33Bpps packet processing rate.
Mellanox Spectrum® SN2000
The SN3000 Ethernet switches are ideal for leaf and spine data center network solutions, allowing maximum flexibility, with port speeds spanning from 1GbE to 400GbE per port and port density that enables full rack connectivity to any server at any speed. NVIDIA AS5812 Ethernet Switches
The AS5812-54T is ideal to build management networks and provides full line-rate switching at layer 2 or layer 3 across 48 x 10GBASE-T ports and 6 x 40GbE uplinks in a 1U form-factor.
